A Doctor's Return Home
Dr. Deepak Rohella, the founder of our organization, is a medical professional who understands the challenges of long-distance caregiving firsthand. After moving to Australia in 2001, he faced the difficult reality of his parents living alone in Bhubaneswar, India. This situation became even more critical when his father passed away from COVID-19, leaving his mother facing health issues and hospitalization.
A Seed of Hope
Returning to India to care for his mother, Dr. Rohella witnessed the struggles of other families with elderly parents living alone. He became a trusted source of support for friends and colleagues, attending to their parents' medical needs, finding specialists, and simply offering a helping hand. His mother's innocent question, "What about the other parents who don't know you?" sparked a fire in him.
Building a Support System
Driven by his own experiences and his mother's pain, Dr. Rohella embarked on a mission to provide support for elderly parents living alone in Odisha. Our organization was born out of this deep empathy and a desire to make a difference.
At the Core of What We Do
We understand the anxieties and challenges of caring for parents from afar. We are dedicated to offering a helping hand and becoming a source of comfort for both parents and their children. Our team is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of elders in our community.
